We will offer the vaccination at no cost via our Health Centers.</p> <p>DIVISION: Strategy Development</p> <p>PROGRAM: Community Health Worker Training Program</p> <p>JOB OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The Community Health Worker (CHW) Program Manager is responsible for managing the federally funded Community Health Worker Training Program (CHWTP). This project is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, Bureau of Health Workforce. The Program Manager is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day program activities, partnership engagement, oversight of CHW didactic training and field placement, contracts management, and ongoing reports to the funder. The position is located in Philadelphia and reports to the Senior Director of Strategy Development.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the CHWTP using project management software such as MS Teams and Smartsheet to help assess whether workplan activities are meeting the targeted timeline. </li><li>Support the Senior Director of Strategy Development and Project Coordinator with the development, coordination, execution, tracking, and reporting of program deliverables. </li><li>Coordinate promotion of the CHWTP and development of resources across the PHMC enterprise as well as with key stakeholders in Pennsylvania and Delaware and select subcontractors. </li><li>Track and submit documentation for CHW accreditation of didactic training and technical assistance learning opportunities. </li><li>Identify, engage, and establish experiential training sites across PA and DE, including apprenticeship opportunities. </li><li>Track and submit documentation for CHW experiential learning and apprenticeship opportunities. </li><li>Coordinate and host internal and external project meetings as needed with key stakeholders and act as a liaison between subcontractors and internal/external partners on the project. </li><li>Support content development of trainings and resources, including slide development for presentations. </li><li>Represent the CHWTP on partner calls and meetings. </li><li>Develop, execute, and track Letters of Agreement (LOA) with experiential learning and apprenticeship sites to ensure deliverables are met. </li><li>Develop, execute, and track Letters of Agreement (LOA) with CHW trainees to ensure deliverables are met. </li><li>Supervise CHWTP Project Coordinator and public health intern. </li><li>Support continuous quality improvement of projects with support for evaluation methods. </li><li>Track project process and outcome evaluation metrics in consultation with SME as needed. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Detail-oriented with advanced written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Exceptional organization and project management skills </li><li>Ability to multitask effectively and engage with colleagues across the organization to advance the execution of project deliverables </li><li>Committed to the PHMC mission of building healthier communities through partnerships with government, foundations, businesses, and community-based organizations to improve the health of the community by providing outreach, health promotion, education, research, planning, technical assistance, and direct services </li><li>Flexible with the ability to work independently and as a team both in person and virtually as needed </li><li>Experience with management of federal contracts and non-profit evaluation techniques and tools preferred </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>At least three years of experience in public health, project coordination, or a related area required</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Master's degree in public health or public administration</p> <p>SALARY GRADE: 19</p> <p>PHMC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</p>
