<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Facilities Technician reports directly to the Facilities Manager. Duties include running routine safety and function inspections and performing maintenance work. The candidate shall remain flexible to assist with tasks in shops and Shipping/Receiving including, but not limited to inventory duties, stocking job trailers, and helping load/unload trucks.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist Manager to ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures </li><li>Help keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol </li><li>Run routine maintenance inspections </li><li>Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation </li><li>Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures </li><li>Support maintenance and installment work as needed </li><li>Aid implementation and maintain preventative maintenance program for equipment </li><li>Aid in implementing and maintaining equipment list </li><li>When necessary, assist with Vehicle Fleet repairs and routine maintenance </li><li>Prepare/load/unload trucks and/or trailers for outside service crews </li><li>Assist as needed with various shop and shipping tasks </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical and plumbing skills </li><li>Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems </li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks </li><li>Excellent time management and multitasking skills </li><li>Great problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work unsupervised </li></ul>
