Caregivers treat over 61,000 adult and pediatric patients annually, providing a critical link to healthcare for our community, the region, and the world (through Cleveland Clinic Critical Care Transport). This is a second shift supervisor role and will lead Main Campus ED and remote registration teams. This is 24/7 operations with on-call expectations. Supervisor should be experienced in patient registration and expected to be in staffing on occasion.</p> <p>Schedule is Monday - Friday 2p-10:30p with 2 works from home days per month or 4 days 12p-10:30p (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) with no work from home days per month.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise caregivers in daily operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain staffing levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide leadership and training.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and provide orientation and education.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze workflow and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and implement opportunities to improve procedures, processes, speed, quality and effectiveness.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure cross coverage.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop an effective work team.</p> </li><li> <p>Encourage and support morale building activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with caregivers and provide orientation on policies.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate's Degree</p> </li><li> <p>3 years of related supervisory experience</p> </li><li> <p>OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements</p> </li><li> <p>OR Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience may substitute the work requirement.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> </li><li> <p>Healthcare experience in a large organization</p> </li><li> <p>Call center experience is a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
