Come join the rapidly expanding Lilly Gene Therapy team at Eli Lilly! We are responsible for inventing, characterizing, and advancing novel genome editing reagents for a myriad of clinical applications. Our team works cross-functionally within our organization across multiple disease areas and platforms. Our goal is to deliver on the promise of gene editing to patients around the world.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct analysis and interpretation of on-target and off-target data. </li><li>Visualize genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics datasets. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists to design and execute experiments, integrate computational methods into development projects, and provide data-driven insights. </li><li>Assist in the organization, management, and maintenance of data to ensure its integrity. </li><li>Stay informed on the latest advancements in computational biology and genomics to implement best practices. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in scientific field with 7+ years of relevant work experience or Masters degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills/Preferences:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in NGS data handling, pipeline building/analysis. </li><li>Proven experience in genomic data analysis and drug development. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of work and code. </li><li>Expert in Python or R. </li><li>Experience with Linux HPC, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS). </li><li>Experience with containers (e.g., Docker) and workflow software (e.g., Nextflow, WDL, Snakemake). </li><li>Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks (e.g., Benchling) </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>This role may require up to 10-15% travel for conferences or training. </li></ul> <p>Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions. The anticipated wage for this position is</p> <p>$70,500 - $200,200</p> <p>Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
