We offer daily and weekly pay options and great benefits!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Greenwood Health and Living, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across all shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the daily living activities of residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. This position requires a compassionate approach, as you will be a key point of contact for both patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing education about health management. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and supporting their health goals.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. </li><li>Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff. </li><li>Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. </li><li>Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families regarding health care needs. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice. </li><li>Completion of an accredited practical nursing program. </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing. </li><li>Certification in IV therapy. </li><li>Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skill of direct patient care is essential in ensuring that residents receive the attention and support they need throughout their daily routines. You will utilize your clinical skills to assess patient conditions and implement care plans effectively. Strong communication skills will be vital as you interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide updates and address concerns. Additionally, organizational skills will help you manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring that all patient needs are met in a timely manner. Preferred skills, such as experience with EHR systems, will enhance your ability to document care accurately and streamline communication within the team.</p>
