<p>OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, ESY ALL PROGRAMS</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW</p> <p>Provide consultation and direct OT services to BEEP, K-8, High School and/or Post-Secondary/Transition students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct services to students as indicated on caseload IEP </li><li>Support students with a range of OT services including but not limited to perceptual/sensory/motor/developmental delay or underlying impairments that limit/prevent a student from accessing the educational curriculum </li><li>Coordination of related service and service only student support </li><li>Consult with ESY teachers </li><li>Provide direct or consultative services; modify or adapt school environments, tools, or materials as needed in order to support a student in accessing the educational curriculum and environment as independently as possible </li><li>Support needs related to visual perception, motor proficiency, social skills, handwriting, activities of daily living, self-feeding, fine motor, sensory processing, psychosocial skills, eating, self-care and organization </li><li>Adapt as needed to changes in student and/or team response, available treatment locations, and educational activities </li><li>May be asked to provide compensatory OT services </li><li>Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED</p> <ul> <li>Occupational Therapist licensure required </li></ul> <p>SCHEDULE</p> <ul> <li>July 7, 2025 - August 14, 2025 </li><li>9:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday; Hours, sites, ages and schedule are dependent on caseload </li><li>Additional 2 days of training prior to start of program </li><li>Additional 30 minutes per day for planning </li></ul> <p>Contact information- ESY Coordinators</p> <ul> <li>All employees must be vaccinated and maintain full vaccination as a condition </li></ul> <p>of employment or work as an on-site vendor/contractor, unless they receive approval for a documented medical or religious exemption in accordance with relevant state and/or federal law.
