<p>Pay Philosophy</p> <p>The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Director, Automation & Interaction Management</p> <p>We are looking for a forward-thinking, innovative and collaborative people leader to join the Service Solutions team as Director, Product Owner for Automation & Interaction Management. This highly cross-functional role is responsible for translating business outcomes into strategies for a portfolio of products that include Natural Language Processing bots, Robotic Process Automation & Real Time Interaction Sharing. We are looking for someone to advance a future state vision for Automation and AI within USRM through technology solutions while contributing towards building a product management culture that embraces AI across Experience & Strategy.</p> <p>This role will set aspirational objectives and key results to encourage innovation and drive short-and long-term outcomes. You will be responsible for overseeing a set of products that are critical enablers for USRM and will ensure product teams are appropriately resourced, focused on the key priorities, and ensure alignment between roadmaps to achieve portfolio and business objectives.</p> <p>A key area of responsibility for this role will be championing the future state vision of Automation across USRM, working across domains to integrate and leverage automation to increase business value delivered by:</p> <ul> <li>Establishing key partnerships across Tech, Solaria, DS, LMSV to drive Automation & AI innovation for USRM </li><li>Partnering across Contact Center & Interaction Management on capabilities such as real time guidance, conversational AI, conversational chatbots </li><li>Serving as a member of the USRM GenAI BU and lead for Service </li><li>Represent USRM Automation & partner across LM broadly (ex. Transformation office) </li><li>Foster a product management culture that embraces automation & AI by partnering closely with the Automation COE to support E&S workforce adoption of AI and automation to augment product management </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and coach a team of product owners to improve their product management craft </li><li>Establish long-term vision and roadmap for Automation & Interaction Management portfolio </li><li>Balance ?win now? and Frontier objectives working with product teams to develop the Automation roadmap to support Frontier </li><li>Deliver and Partner closely with Claims & Servicing stakeholders on A&IM strategy, maintaining close stakeholder partnerships with P&PS, CSC, IASO, and CRC, while broadening scope to integrate automation across more domains and products to improve value delivery. </li><li>Partner closely with UX, UXR, tech, Insights, Data Science, and Data Office to inform vision and market position </li><li>Collaborates with engineering, UX, UX research, Architecture, and Business Architecture to translate business strategies into portfolio strategies and roadmaps to drive outcomes. </li><li>Develops close partnerships with stakeholders across Insights & Solutions, Solaria, LMSV, Data Science, Marketing, Service, Claims, and Product to translate business priorities into portfolio tactics and strategies. </li><li>Defines aspirational objectives and key results and uses data to make informed decisions. </li><li>Manages a team of Product Owners and leads Agile teams and stakeholders to align priorities, remove roadblocks and secure resources. </li><li>Works closely with business and technology leaders to translate business strategies into enabling aligned product and portfolio strategies designed to drive maturity across product management and experienced outcomes. </li><li>Refines/influences and defines a clear product strategy, develops comprehensive product vision and translates into specific feature strategies and roadmaps. </li><li>Responsible for communicating the product vision effectively to key stakeholders, team members, and senior management. </li><li>Works closely with IT to ensure resource alignment in support of product vision and roadmaps. </li><li>Owns alignment of development and business resources on goals and priorities while working with stakeholders and team to remove roadblocks to execution. </li><li>Coaches and mentors the craft of Product across Product Owners across portfolios. </li><li>Be a champion for business capabilities and the new operating model, clarifying roles and responsibilities where necessary </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Advanced knowledge product management, Agile development methodologies, and experience in organizational change management as typically acquired through a Bachelors` degree in relevant field (business, computer science, etc </li><li>) and a minimum of 10 years` experience in product development, business, marketing, technology, and/or consulting </li><li>Master`s degree preferred </li><li>High level of proven business expertise needed to set clear priorities for product and understand business value impacts across an entire business unit </li><li>High level of proven outcomes managing and mentoring product managers, product owners, and people leaders </li><li>Technical proficiency required to participate in program increment planning and have an informed, independent voice </li><li>Strong influencing and leadership skills in order to be seen as the decision maker when interfacing with business, and willingness to dissent with both teams and business </li><li>Proven experience with Agile practices and expectations </li><li>Comfortable with making decisions with some level of uncertainty </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal </li><li>Encourages non-hierarchical culture </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>As a purpose-driven organization, Liberty Mutual is committed to fostering an environment where employees from all backgrounds can build long and meaningful careers.
