<p>The Center for Information and Communication Sciences has a full-time non-tenure track position available beginning in August 2025. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in some combination of topics from these domains of expertise. Candidates should speak to the domains of expertise which they are prepared to teach in the cover letter.</p> <p>Network Infrastructures: Cisco Networking Academy CCNA & CCNP network design, configuration, and security of network services and devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP, wireless access points, QoS, etc.).</p> <p>Cybersecurity: Threat Assessment; Security Controls for Networks, Servers and Applications; Security Principals and Compliance; Penetration Testing; SOC Monitoring; Digital Forensics; Industrial Control Systems Security</p> <p>Cloud & Virtualization Technologies: Virtualization; Private Cloud Infrastructures; Public Cloud Infrastructures, Cloud Development, Cloud Architect, Cloud Administration, etc. CICS faculty are expected to maintain active relationships with industry which drive collaborations resulting in faculty, student, and Center opportunities.</p> <p>Systems Infrastructure: DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, electronic communications, client-server architectures, servers (Unix/Linux), and high availability/redundacy designs.</p> <p>The salary for the 10-month, non-tenure track position in CICS will be in the range of $60,000 - $70,000 based on qualifications. The 10-month contract includes a 4/4 teaching load in the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer teaching opportunities for additional compensation are available based on student demand.</p>
