<p>Job purpose</p> <ul> <li>A QMA 1 is responsible for operating one or more plastic injection molding machines or auxiliary equipment. QMA will inspect, perform value added work and pack parts accordingly. </li></ul> <p>Duties and responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. </li><li>Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) </li><li>Complete shift/press paperwork as required </li><li>Ability to walk medium distances within press cycle times </li><li>Comply with department policies, procedures and work instructions including the TASUS Quality Management System </li><li>Must be able to take directions well. </li><li>Participate in monthly meetings and TPS projects. </li><li>Must be able to solve problems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Ability to work in team environment and maintain positive attitude </li><li>Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures </li><li>Good attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Working conditions</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required. </li><li>Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when required </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements</p> <ul> <li>Standing for long periods of time </li><li>Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 40 pounds. </li><li>Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, kneel and squat. </li></ul>
