<p>Job Title: Civil Engineer PE (Indianapolis South)</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Professional Engineer for our Indianapolis South Office. The position involves working on all phases of municipal water/wastewater treatment process design, including conceptual and feasibility evaluations, preparation of design reports, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design municipal water/wastewater treatment processes. </li><li>Conduct conceptual and feasibility evaluations. </li><li>Prepare design reports and develop contract documents. </li><li>Assist with bidding processes and provide support for construction engineering services. </li><li>Work on water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems for municipal clients. </li><li>Engage in stormwater and transportation engineering projects as needed. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. </li><li>Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana or ability to obtain reciprocity. </li><li>Experience in water/wastewater treatment process/plant design. </li><li>Hydraulic engineering experience with pump stations, collection systems, and distribution systems. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and in team environments. </li><li>Strong work ethic and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience working for a civil consulting firm. </li><li>Experience with treatment plant modeling software such as GPS-X and Visual Hydraulics. </li><li>Ability to mentor junior team members. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The office environment is laid back but can be deadline intensive at times. There is a family feel, and a strong team environment is very important. Dress is business casual. The standard working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible start times ranging from 7 AM to 9 AM. Engineers may have the option to work a modified schedule of 9 hours Monday through Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. The company offers relocation assistance in the form of a sign-on bonus and is open to both contract-to-hire and direct placement opportunities. Employees can expect frequent performance evaluations, yearly pay increases, and participation in profit sharing and bonus programs.
