<p>INTERNAL ONLY - Teachers</p> <p>TITLE: Stipend - PD: MS/HS HQIM: ELD Curriculum - Lift - Access the world through language, literacy and content (Districtwide) (Internal Only) (SY24-25)</p> <p>LOCATION: TBD</p> <p>REPORTS TO: MLE Director and Assistant Director - Dr. Alberto Carrero, Mrs. Alma Pezo. MLE Coordinator Esteban Cabrera Duran</p> <p>GENERAL DUTIES: Educators will unpack upcoming Lift - Access the world through language, literacy and content to explicitly integrate WIDA 2020 standards, and current content HQIM curriculums including best practices to address MLLs needs in order to support explicit language instruction in our classrooms during ELD. Additionally, teachers are going to enhance the units of students to ensure access for the entering and emerging language learners. There will be 20 hours allocated to this work per participant.</p> <p>Compensation: Teachers will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day (up to 20 hours total)</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will be an educator at one of the secondary schools who teaches entering and emerging ELs. We are looking for a well represented group of educators. Duties: 5-12 MLE teachers will get the chance to start to preview and prepare for the implementation of the Lift - Access the world through language, literacy and content curriculum in foundational and transitional classrooms.</p> <p>COMPENSATION: There will be 20 hours allocated to this project.
