The team consists of UAW represented, Experimental Transmission Mechanics and Warehouse support personnel.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise a team consisting of UAW represented Skilled Trades </li><li>Maintain building infrastructure in the AT VE+ET test facility </li><li>Ensure resources are used efficiently </li><li>Participate in program planning and status update meetings </li><li>Ensure appropriate staffing/hiring </li><li>Implement and support safety policies and initiatives </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Post High School Degree (Associates, Technical) or equivalent experience</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in oral and written business communication </li><li>Typically 5+ years in a related field (or equivalent) </li><li>Familiarity with automotive powertrain hardware </li><li>Experience supervising or leading others </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in automotive powertrain testing environment </li><li>Experience with automotive powertrain testing equipment </li><li>Experience supervising a union represented workforce </li></ul> <p>Primary Location:</p> <p>Indianapolis, IN</p> <p>Additional Locations:</p> <p>Allison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
