<p>Job Description</p> <p>The Operations Intern will work on company projects within the Medina, OH Campus. The Intern is expected to work with various departments to assist in accomplishing project objectives.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Other duties and projects, as assigned. </li><li>Communicate with customers, contract carriers, and the Panther fleet via telephone and email. </li><li>Become familiar with day-to-day transportation challenges by working in our high-tech, 24/7 call center and quoting, booking, dispatching, and monitoring premium freight for our customers. </li><li>Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly departmental meetings. </li><li>Partner with analysts and project team for exposure to overall business. </li><li>Cross training in all operations departments including customer service, fulfillment, contractor relations, customer solutions, and network management. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing Bachelor's Degree, required </li><li>Supply Chain and Business majors, preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>No prior experience necessary </li></ul> <p>Computer Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, preferred </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Active Learning </li><li>Flexibility and Adaptability </li><li>Initiative </li><li>Interpersonal Relationships </li><li>Managing Multiple Priorities </li><li>Problem Solving </li></ul> <p>Other Details</p> <p>Work Hours:</p> <ul> <li>This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week.
