<p>Position Type: Part-time, adjunct in-person classes only</p> <p>Compensation: $800 - $950 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)</p> <p>Location: NHTI Concords Community College, Concord NH</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>At NHTI Concords Community College, we are dedicated to developing compassionate and skilled professionals who will make a positive impact in the fields of human services, addiction counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, and other social sciences. Our Human Services/Addiction Counseling & Social Sciences department provides students with the knowledge, empathy, and practical skills needed to serve individuals and communities effectively.</p> <p>We are building a talent pool of dedicated educators to teach courses that prepare students to address social challenges, promote well-being, and support diverse populations. As an adjunct faculty member, youll have the opportunity to shape future human services professionals, engage students in critical discussions, and provide real-world insights that prepare them for meaningful careers in social work, counseling, and related fields.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or other related field </li><li>Experience: Prior teaching experience and familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS) preferred. </li><li>Residency: Must reside in NH </li><li>Position Responsibilities: Instructors will teach in-person courses with morning, afternoon, and/or evening availability. Responsibilities include developing course syllabi, responding promptly to student emails, meeting with students for support, attending monthly department meetings, and grading assignments in a timely manner. </li><li>Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards. </li><li>Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments. </li><li>Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress. </li><li>Professional Development: Stay current in your profession and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Candidate Pool Process:</p> <p>To be considered for adjunct faculty opportunities, candidates should submit the following materials for review:</p> <ul> <li>Application: Complete the online application form. </li><li>Supporting Documents: Submit a cover letter, CV/resume, and copies of official or unofficial transcripts. </li></ul> <p>Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and candidates will be contacted as teaching opportunities arise within their field of expertise.</p>
