<p>Your Impact</p> <p>The Support Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising a high performing team responsible for supporting operations during the night and weekend shift to ensure product moves through the facility efficiently and effectively. This role plans and monitors which product is received into the facility to meet store demand. This role ensures the correct quantity and quality of product gets to the customer by monitoring the products and the accuracy of the facility's processes. This role also resolves inventory discrepancies so that product in demand can be shipped to the stores on time. In addition, this role monitors and receives calls from the stores requesting information such as proposed product shipment dates.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>Drives compliance with daily safety requirements and builds/sustains a culture of safety among subordinates and peers </li><li>Assists associates with HR related issues including questions/concerns with attendance, pay, benefits, job changes, voluntary terminations, I-9 verification, unemployment claims, and workplace accommodations </li><li>Communicates clear expectations for associates and provides timely and constructive feedback </li><li>Monitors and manages associate performance, ensuring that associates are executing assigned tasks accurately and as scheduled </li><li>Mentors and builds relationships with associates, recording planned encounters when needed, and completing annual reviews </li><li>Holds associates in department accountable to expected behaviors and performance levels </li><li>Monitors the data management system (DMS) to ensure items are set up correctly in the system </li><li>Resolves inventory discrepancies when product does not allocate appropriately </li><li>Reviews warehouse capacity and assigns associates to move product around to make space for inbound product </li><li>Monitors priority demand or special orders to ensure shipment; reviews purchase orders on the yard to identify any trailers that need to be received into inventory for cross-dock opportunities </li><li>Places inbound trailers on hold in the yard (not to be received into inventory) if overstocked with product </li><li>Researches and closes waves (product to be picked) that are complete in the database </li><li>Reports, to upper management and Corporate, damages that have occurred in-house over a certain threshold </li><li>Monitors and allocates Direct to Customer (DTC) and Transfer Orders </li><li>Assists direct reports or Operations with any issues with product that arises (e.g., product not allocating) </li><li>Monitors onsite and offsite storage trailers for demand needs </li><li>Allocates S.O.E (warehouse/store order express) and S.O.S orders to ensure they are shipped by targeted date; checks these orders frequently </li><li>Prepares shift turn-over documentation </li><li>Monitors and verifies process audits, cycle counts, damages and hazmat processing are completed daily </li><li>Monitors Building Utilization to help avoid any inbound issues with product </li><li>Communicates effectively with associates regarding business objectives or current issues </li><li>Provides associates with meaningful developmental opportunities and prepares them for upward promotion if interested </li><li>Discusses and resolves issues with and between associates </li><li>Participates in the hiring process by initiating job requisitions when appropriate and interviewing prospective candidates </li><li>Ensures associates receive proper training </li><li>This position manages/supervises people </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field </li><li>3-5 Years 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Education</p> <ul> <li>Leadership experience with direct report responsibility </li><li>Experience mentoring and coaching others </li><li>Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems </li><li>Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time </li><li>Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe's DMS system </li><li>Experience building a culture of safety among subordinates and peers </li></ul> <p>Lowe's Companies, Inc.
