<p>Overview: We are seeking a collaborative and team-oriented leader with exceptional communication skills and a passion for student success. This individual will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, manage student behavior, and foster a positive school culture with a deep understanding of athletic program management and strategies to engage students. The ideal candidate should be organized, flexible, and committed to meeting the needs of all students while promoting the athletic department.</p> <p>Responsibilities: Provide educational leadership and support to students, teachers, and staff Oversee student discipline and promote a positive school culture Supervise and evaluate staff members and support staff Implement current school reform initiatives Exhibit strong leadership and organizational skills with an emphasis on scheduling, supervision, and program development Manage all athletic programs for the district Promote athletic sponsorships and partnerships Oversee all athletic financials for the district Support student-athletes in their academic and athletic growth Oversee all coaching professional development Oversee all student and coaching compliance with the Arkansas Activities Association</p> <p>Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Arkansas teaching license with Building Level Administration Experience at the secondary level is preferred</p> <p>Contract Terms: Position: Mt. Vernon-Enola High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Employment Type: Full-Time 215-240 Day Contract Salary: 2025/2026 Salary Schedule Start Date: 7/01/2025</p> <p>Terms and Conditions The Assistant Principal/Athletic Director agrees to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the job description to the best of their ability. The Assistant Principal/Athletic Director will adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing student discipline and confidentiality.
