<p>Position Summary: Represents the Casino and Human Resources as the first point of contact for all applicants, guests, internal customers and Team Members</p> <p>Job Title: Coordinator Human Resources</p> <p>Department: Human Resources</p> <p>Reports To: Supervisor Human Resources</p> <p>FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt</p> <p>License Type: Non-Gaming License</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $24.35</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains the reception area by assisting applicants and team members </li><li>Answer incoming phone calls and provide assistance to guests, applicants and team members </li><li>Responsible for tracking and distribution of NYSGC licenses, name tags and identification badges to all team members </li><li>Responsible for processing, coding and submitting department invoices </li><li>Responsible for the department inventory and ordering of supplies </li><li>Respond to needs of guests, applicants and team members or direct them to the appropriate person or department in an expeditious manner while maintaining excellent guest service </li><li>Responsible for filing and the organization of all team member paperwork and files </li><li>Schedule, track and log team members for all training programs </li><li>Compose and send out offer letters and provide clerical support to the Human Resources team. </li><li>Responsible for the scheduling of New Hire Orientation </li><li>Manage, track and log all applications for Educational Assistance </li><li>Administer all development programs including internships, leadership development and mentoring programs </li><li>Assist with employment reference checks and verifications </li><li>Maintain, update and organize new hire and/or benefit packets </li><li>Assist as needed with team member events </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>College degree preferred </li><li>Two years or more of Human Resources experience </li><li>Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner </li><li>Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral </li><li>Computer skills required using database, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing </li><li>New York State Non-Gaming License required </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed both in an office and on the casino floor in a smoke-free environment with frequent walking, standing and prolonged periods of sitting a desk and working on a computer </li><li>Regularly required to see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time </li></ul>
