Through our research, outreach and entrepreneurial projects, Clemson University and its employees are driving economic development and improving quality of life in South Carolina and beyond.</p> <p>So,... are you ready?</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Assists the full-time staff with supervising and overseeing specific gameday operations at Clemson Athletic sporting events, including, but not limited to, supervising event staff, managing stadium gate operations, oversight of the gameday parking operations, troubleshooting issues with ticket scanning equipment, providing customer service support to fans, collaborating with law enforcement personnel, tracking statistics, assisting with run-of-show, and performing other duties as assigned.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <p>60% - Essential Event Operations Management: Greets and direct guests upon arrival. Provide excellent customer service and address any guest inquiries or concerns. Manage crowd control and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems for food service or merchandise sales. Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Collaborate with event organizers and other staff members to ensure smooth operations. Oversees the parking operations of assigned lots on football game days. Oversees the gate operations of assigned gate on game days.</p> <p>40% - Essential Administrative Support: Performs standard clerical duties following established methods and procedures; these duties may include a wide range of typing responsibilities.
