<p>Aspen Trace is now hiring an experienced Unit Manager Floor Nurse (RN or LPN). We offer daily and weekly pay options and great benefits as well as a $15,000 sign on bonus!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Floor Nurse Unit Manager (RN/LPN) at Aspen Trace plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within the nursing unit. This position is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The manager will work closely with physicians, patients, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Additionally, the Floor Nurse Unit Manager will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and high morale among staff. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction through effective leadership and management of nursing operations.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and support nursing staff in the delivery of patient care, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols. </li><li>Coordinate daily operations of the nursing unit, including patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. </li><li>Conduct regular assessments of patient care quality and implement improvements as necessary. </li><li>Facilitate communication between healthcare team members, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care. </li><li>Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration. </li><li>Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this position include strong leadership and communication abilities, which are essential for managing nursing staff and ensuring effective patient care. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are utilized daily to assess patient needs and implement appropriate care strategies.
