<p>Leominster Public Schools</p> <p>Priest Street School</p> <p>Full Time, School year position.</p> <p>ABA Tutor: Early Childhood</p> <p>Leominster Public Schools is seeking an ABA Tutor for our substantially-separate ABA-based classroom. The candidate should be quick learner, team player, and effective communicator. We are searching for individuals who have a passion for special education and can connect with students and staff.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Four Year Degree preferred. </li><li>Have ability to relate to and work with disabled children. </li><li>Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative. </li><li>Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community. </li><li>Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis preferred </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Under the direct supervision of the teacher, the Tutor Shall:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the students with all instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher. </li><li>Collect Data , Use Student Program Books, Share updates with staff. </li><li>Assist the students with the preparation of all materials and books. </li><li>Assist the teacher in related clerical work. </li><li>Use computers and/or electronic equipment to fulfill job functions and support remote learning. </li><li>Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire and grooming, and effective work ethic. </li><li>Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings. </li><li>Display ethical behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school. </li><li>Protect confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within legal confines. </li></ul> <p>Please submit cover letter, resume, and transcripts.</p>
