You'll need to be a detail-oriented professional with a</p> <p>strong understanding of merchandising principles and freight operations, as well as a motivational leader</p> <p>who can inspire and empower your team. You will be leveraging OSJL's streamlined approach to</p> <p>technology, ensuring exceptional merchandising, operations, and a collaborative team environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Strategic Leadership & Profitability:</p> <p>? Support Company programs flawlessly to maximize revenue and achieve store goals.</p> <p>? Ensure the store runs smoothly in the absence of the Store Team Leader, demonstrating your</p> <p>leadership capabilities.</p> <p>? Daily funds are appropriately reconciled according to store closing procedures.</p> <p>Backroom Efficiency:</p> <p>? Actively lead and support an efficient freight flow process, maintain a well-organized backroom,</p> <p>and achieve a 24-hour freight turnaround.</p> <p>? Proactively leverage technology to maximize scheduling effectiveness in support of managing</p> <p>freight.</p> <p>Inventory Management:</p> <p>? Partner with the Store Team Leader to maintain optimal store inventory levels.</p> <p>? Ensuring proper merchandising and product placement.</p> <p>Merchandising and Freight Management:</p> <p>? Actively lead and support the timely and accurate placement of products on the sales floor,</p> <p>ensuring compliance with Company merchandising standards.</p> <p>? Collaborate with the Store Team Leader to develop and implement effective merchandising</p> <p>strategies that drive sales and optimize inventory turnover.</p> <p>? Monitor. Lead, and assist with freight flow, ensuring that products are received, processed, and</p> <p>stocked efficiently.</p> <p>? Coordinate the receiving team in ensuring accurate receipt and inspection of merchandise.</p> <p>? Identify and address any product shortages or overstocks.</p> <p>Foster a Collaborative Team:</p> <p>? Support the recruitment, training, and development of store associates.</p> <p>? Identify and nurture high-potential associates, preparing them for future growth.</p> <p>? Foster a stable, knowledgeable team environment where associates feel valued and empowered to</p> <p>succeed.</p> <p>Championing a Positive Store Culture:</p> <p>? Ensure the store exceeds company standards for merchandising, cleanliness, and overall</p> <p>presentation.</p> <p>? Lead by example, ensuring all operations, merchandising, and visual aspects of your area comply</p> <p>with company policies and programs.</p> <p>? Cultivate positive and productive working relationships with store leadership, associates, and</p> <p>field management.</p> <p>Customer Service Champion:</p> <p>? Monitor and maintain exceptional customer service, exceeding both company and customer</p> <p>expectations.</p> <p>? Maintaining store cleanliness and visual standards.</p> <p>Leveraging Technology:</p> <p>? Support HCM processes, including associate data and timekeeping, benefits, and learning</p> <p>management system (LMS) operations to maintain efficient delivery of associate development</p> <p>programs.</p> <p>? Maintain the Oracle systems to manage store related expenses.</p> <p>? Consistent review of Domo Store Spotlight technology to ensure productivity goals are met and</p> <p>opportunities are addressed.</p> <p>? Daily use of Thinktime to ensure maximum level of efficiency for all store related</p> <p>communications.</p> <p>? Utilize mobile devices to manage technology support and operational expectations of the store.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? 4+ years of previous retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education</p> <p>and experience is preferred.</p> <p>? Proficient in Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets).</p> <p>? Preferred experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools.</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>? Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.</p> <p>? Long periods of remaining stationary, moving, and positioning oneself to complete assigned tasks</p> <p>are required throughout the shift.</p> <p>? These will include a sales area, a stockroom/receiving area and a</p> <p>separate operations/office area, all of which may have varying conditions such as temperature,</p> <p>dust levels, and overall accessibility.</p> <p>?
