<p>Job Title: High level - CAD / BIM Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are looking to add a CAD/BIM Manager to our team due to increased AV demand from our clients and the internal need to automate and standardize our work. This is a new position that will play a crucial role in developing best practices and workflow automation in AutoCAD.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop best practices and workflow automation in AutoCAD, including scripting and list routine development. </li><li>Understand low voltage engineering systems, with a preference for audiovisual systems. </li><li>Communicate and collaborate effectively, both in writing and orally. </li><li>Grow and lead a team of operators. </li><li>Program and develop scripts or list routines using basic languages like VB script. </li><li>Develop blocks (inputs and outputs) and automation processes. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience as a CAD lead or Manager. </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM. </li><li>Experience with scripting and list routine development. </li><li>Knowledge of low voltage engineering systems. </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills. </li><li>Programming and development experience around scripts or list routines. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Revit, Electrical, and Navisworks. </li><li>Open-minded and open to change. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>You will be working in the low voltage division. The dress code is business casual (dress pants and polo). The hours are flexible during the first shift, and we are open to a hybrid schedule with 1-2 days working from home.
