<p>Job Summary: Assists the Department Director in establishing quality as a priority for all Rehabilitation caregivers while maintaining productivity and expense goals. Maintains the management of the Rehab department in the absence of the Department Director. When the Director is present, the Rehab Lead assists in duties of payroll, policy development and review, contract development and review, securing coverage for absent employees and increased caseloads, program development for onsite and offsite opportunities, student assignments from universities and high schools, on-call management for 20% of weekends in the year, and development of yearly weekend schedules for PT, OT and ST. Other responsibilities may be added as the job allows and upon the agreement of the Director and Lead Therapist. Operates within the current FTE of the employee with 20% of the weekly FTE spend on management duties and 80% of the weekly FTE spend on direct patient care. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors, Masters, of Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program. Current licensure and in good standing by the State of Indiana or temporary licensure for new graduates. Upon employment and yearly thereafter, must complete mandatory inservices. Must be knowledgeable of disaster and Safety procedures. Will review the Rehab Services Department policy and procedures every two (2) years.
