<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Business and Computer Information Systems, Adjunct Faculty Pool</p> <p>Adjunct positions are an "Open Pool" for the upcoming Spring 2025 Academic Semester. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis.</p> <p>Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefited MCCC/MTA/DCE unit positions.</p> <p>SALARY: $1,397 to $1,688 per credit</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:</p> <p>The Business and Information Technology Department is particularly interested in instructors to teach: Web Site Design and Development, Web Site Management, Introduction to Digital Design Tools, and Digital Design I & II. Classes meet online, in-person, or in a hybrid modality.</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Conducts classes; </li><li>Prepares for instruction; </li><li>Assesses student performance; </li><li>Provides student assistance by appointment; and </li><li>Attends a limited number of faculty meetings. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field; </li><li>Demonstrated successful experience working with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, with a range of academic abilities; and </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to the community college mission. </li><li>Evidence of successful teaching experience in a community college; and </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in and outside of the classroom. </li><li>EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: </li></ul> <p>Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as stated above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience have prepared them for the responsibilities of this position.</p> <p>Application Instructions:</p> <p>In order to be considered for this position, you must submit your credentials online.</p> <p>To apply, click on the "Apply Now" button.</p> <p>You will be prompted to set up a new account or login to an existing account.</p> <p>From there, you will be able to upload the following required documents for consideration:</p> <ul> <li>Resume </li><li>Cover letter </li></ul> <p>References will only be checked at the finalist stage.
