<p>Job Advertisement</p> <p>Keene Parks and Recreation is looking for a Pool Supervisor! Do you have a strong aquatics background and enjoy having fun while also ensuring the safety of those you are supervising? If so apply today to spend your summer outside working with children! The Pool Supervisor is a key leader position responsible for the supervision safety and accident prevention of all patrons. They will be a role model for Lifeguards as well as Pool Attendants and will set the tone with a solid work ethic good communication and problem solving skills and a can-do attitude! Pay rate will be $17 per hour. Hours are Monday-Friday 1pm-7pm and Saturday and Sunday 12pm-6pm with additional hours scheduled for swim lessons Monday-Thursday 9am-11:30am. Hours may exceed 40 hours per week and could change based on rentals and lessons! Requirements include current certification for Lifeguarding (or ability to obtain before the start of the season). Prior aquatic experience is desired along with the ability to work well in a team environment and supervise a summer aquatic staff of about 15 employees! Job Description: POOL SUPERVISOR.pdf THE CITY OF KEENE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Works under the general supervision of the Parks & Recreation Programmer.</p> <p>Responsible for the supervision; safety and accident prevention of all patrons.</p> <p>Responsible for insuring the pool area and facilities are cleaned on a daily basis according to established maintenance procedures.</p> <p>Exercises supervision over pool staff on a day to day basis.</p> <p>Arranges staff schedules to insure proper coverage at all times.</p> <p>Assists in programming of swimming lessons; outside swim groups and special events.</p> <p>Completes all required paperwork in a timely manner such as time sheets; attendance reports and maintenance reports.</p> <p>Administers first aid and CPR when necessary.</p> <p>Follows established procedures regarding accidents; discipline or mechanical problems.</p> <p>Follows and enforces department rules and regulations.</p> <p>Fills in as Lifeguard or WSI as needed</p> <p>Directs all suggestions from the public to Supervisor.
