<p>The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, supporting, managing, and maintaining all aspects of the systems and network infrastructure. This position requires a strong background in Azure, Linux, SQL DB, IBM SAN storage, and Cisco technologies.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following: other duties may be assigned satisfactorily.</p> <ul> <li>Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows servers (both physical and virtual) to ensure uptime and performance. </li><li>Install, configure, and maintain Linux, mainly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, servers (both physical and virtual) to ensure uptime and performance. </li><li>Responsible for Office365 ecosystem/platform. </li><li>Cloud technologies. Develop, enhance, maintain, and support cloud-based server and application initiatives. </li><li>Administer and manage our Azure cloud environment, including virtual machines, network configurations, and security settings. </li><li>Knowledgeable in SQL database environment, performing maintenance tasks and optimizations, and ensuring data integrity and security. </li><li>Administer and maintain IBM SAN storage solutions, ensuring high performance and data availability. </li><li>Deploy, configure, and manage VMware virtualization environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter operations. </li><li>Design, implement, and manage complex enterprise network solutions using Cisco technologies, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and optimal performance. </li><li>Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to systems and processes. </li><li>Evaluate hardware and software to meet user requirements; make written and verbal recommendations for user or management review. </li><li>Establish working relationships with internal teams to understand, prioritize, and effectively deliver IT support requests and projects </li><li>Establish processes and metrics to help identify areas of improvement </li><li>Monitors systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility. </li><li>Prepares technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions, including actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths for complete solutions. </li><li>Provide 24x7 support and participate in on-call rotation for critical production systems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
