<p>The Document Control Specialist is responsible for receiving, reviewing, tracing, accepting/rejecting FSQA documentation at the Collins plant. Scope includes but is not limited to Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Certifications, R&D, Document Management Systems, off-line processes, and hard-copy methods. The position reports to the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager.</p> <p>Primary duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Revise, review, and write policies, standard operational procedures, one point lessons, and product/packaging specifications for the different departments as needed, or at least once a year for the annual review process as required by regulatory requirements. </li><li>Collect, maintain, and distribute controlled documents necessary to maintain conformance to specification and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Review documents for completeness, store in designated systems, route as appropriate, and distribute within the established legal guidelines and internal standards to ensure the production of the highest quality products in the safest and most efficient manner. </li><li>Work cross-functionally and interact extensively with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and R&D </li><li>Ensure and maintain document accuracy, quality, integrity, and transparency </li><li>Oversee annual archiving of documents from all departments, ensuring proper labeling and transport to designated areas in a safe and timely manner </li><li>Manage and execute training to ensure adherence to the most current version of policies and procedures, including documentation. </li><li>Conduct internal auditing of documentation to validate document control compliance </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
