Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Cleveland site is looking for a new Sea Logistics Intern to join our Sea Logistics team for the Summer!</p> <p>Your Role</p> <p>Ever wonder how goods move around the world from A to Z? You will have a 3 month, comprehensive exposure to the supply chain industry at the global leader in ocean and air freight forwarding. Our exciting program at our Cleveland, Ohio office features networking opportunities, executive guest speakers, and real-world exposure to industry technology and processes.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Integrate into a team on one of our major business units - Sea Logistics </li><li>Support our Customer Service Representatives with financial and customer service tasks </li><li>Learn Kuehne + Nagel systems, terminology, and business solutions </li><li>Participate in internship program activities, involving networking, development meetings, and program projects </li><li>Keep track of individual learning progress utilizing program resources </li></ul> <p>Your Skills and Experiences</p> <ul> <li>Currently an undergraduate student, ideally majoring in supply chain management or related major </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel </li><li>Comfortable collaborating with other logistics colleague, including in-person, virtual meetings, and through phone calls </li><li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Possesses a positive attitude with an interest in learning and growing </li><li>This position is onsite at our Cleveland office (Berea) Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm onsite for the duration of the summer, starting after Spring coursework ends </li></ul> <p>Good Reasons to Join</p> <p>There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
