Here, you will receive endless support and appreciation while building a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.</p> <p>As an LPN at the Spine and Pain Center, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works days from 6:30AM - 3:30PM or 8:30AM - 5:00PM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, physician, optometrist and/or podiatrist, perform patient care activities and complete required documentation for patients of all ages. </li><li>Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about the patient. </li><li>Contribute observations and health information to the nursing assessment and report all data to the RN or authorized directing health care provider. </li><li>Implement the current plan of nursing care at the direction of the RN, or the medication or treatment authorized by the authorized directing health care provider. </li><li>Document and verbally communicate the patient's response to the nursing plan of care, or the medication or treatment including observing patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and performing routine laboratory tests. </li><li>Contribute to the revision of the nursing plan of care </li><li>Provide education and information to patients and family members. </li><li>Maintain professional growth and development within nursing field. </li><li>Participate in the departmental orientation of new caregivers in a positive manner, share knowledge and experiences, and provide guidance when assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing </li><li>Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>One year of patient care experience </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
