<p>Req Id: 28223</p> <p>Job Title: Student Service- Energy and Utilities -Intern</p> <p>City: West Lafayette</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>As a student worker for Energy and Utilities you will assist department engineers with routine tasks such as energy data analysis, reliability and efficiency calculations, technical documentation review, and support of utilities engineering studies. Examples of projects include the evaluation of campus and building energy consumption, equipment/plant efficiency calculations, and revision of technical documents to reflect current plant conditions.</p> <p>Other responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Update technical documentation such as Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs) and operating procedures. </li><li>Analyze building steam, chilled water, electricity, and potable water energy consumption data. Benchmark current buildings based on energy intensity (EUI, kBtu/GSF/yr) to identify conservation opportunities. </li><li>Use of power plant/campus energy management software to access energy consumption data, building trends, and view screens (PI, eDNA, Tableau). </li></ul> <p>Candidates should have a strong interest in energy systems and power generation.
