<p>Job Title: RF Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The candidate will be responsible for advanced RF testing and troubleshooting, working with minimal direction under a Test Supervisor. Day-to-day activities include testing, troubleshooting, and repairing products and returned units at the component level. This role reports to the Customer Service Department.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair new products using test procedures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instruction manuals. </li><li>Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair customers' returned products using test procedures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instruction manuals. </li><li>Maintain a clean and orderly work area. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>RF testing and troubleshooting. </li><li>Component level troubleshooting. </li><li>Proficiency with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and other laboratory test equipment. </li><li>Board repair skills. </li><li>Ability to read and understand electronic specifications, schematics, and layouts. </li><li>Minimum 2-year degree. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience programming microcontrollers (preferred but not required). </li><li>Avionic or military background (nice to have). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The candidate will be part of a small team of two, working at a bench troubleshooting PCBs. Must be comfortable sitting in a chair at a bench throughout the workday.
