Through its affiliated companies, they serve more than 118 million people.</p> <p>Strategic Vendor Manager</p> <p>Location: This position will work a hybrid model (1-2 days/week onsite in office). When reporting to the office, the location will be on MMM Chardon Building located on PR-SAN JUAN, EDIFICIO TORRE CHARDON AVE. CHARDON 350 SUITE 500. Travel to additional office locations may be required.</p> <p>Schedule: This position will work a first shift within operational hours from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Additional hours or days may be required based on operational needs.</p> <p>The Strategic Vendor Manager is responsible for managing the overall vendor performance per contractual service level agreements (SLA) and ensures vendor conformity to enterprise standards, operational processes and management guidelines to ensure business goals are achieved for an enterprise function. Acts as single point of accountability for internal and external business partners.</p> <p>How You Will Make an Impact</p> <p>Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Defines and oversees the execution of complex vendor management and implementation strategy for a defined set of vendors. </li><li>Proactively develops effective business relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and key decision makers in order to meet or exceed expectations. </li><li>Responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more implementation programs that are multi-state, multi-function and multi-year in scope. </li><li>Directs the development, planning, prioritization, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going vendor programs. </li><li>Establishes program governance when needed to assure response to issue escalation; develops program budget and ensures program meets its stated objectives. </li><li>Provides subject matter expertise in response to strategic business issues; researches applicable subject matter practices; and remains aware of industry trends. </li><li>Drives continuous improvement activities and implementations across functional areas. </li><li>Recommends and implements vendor parameters regarding vendor production and quality in support of business objectives, </li><li>Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Requires a BA/BS degree in business or a related field; 5-7 years of process improvement, inventory management, contract management, vendor management, project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual ( English and Spanish) both written and conversational is strongly preferred. </li><li>Previous experience in a vendor management role managing IT suppliers and/or Clinical Services strongly preferred. </li><li>Effective Communication and presentation skills at different organizational levels preferred. </li></ul> <p>Please be advised that Elevance Health only accepts resumes for compensation from agencies that have a signed agreement with Elevance Health.
