<p>Description</p> <p>Hourly Pay - Full Time</p> <p>Reports to: Restaurant manager</p> <p>Hours:</p> <p>Monday 3pm-9pm</p> <p>Tuesday 3pm-9pm</p> <p>Friday 3pm-8pm</p> <p>Saturday 11am-7pm</p> <p>Sunday 11am-7pm</p> <p>We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cook or aspiring Chef, to prepare meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery.</p> <p>An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be adept in moving around the kitchen and in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients, kitchen tools, and cooking techniques is preferred.</p> <p>The goal is to preserve and enhance our reputation in order to exceed our members expectations at every opportunity.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Provide top-notch customer service and member experience. </li><li>Accurately prepare menu items per established standards. </li><li>Maintain working knowledge of restaurant menu. </li><li>Assist in menu development for the Grill and FUEL menus; collaborating with the Managers, Chefs, and other Cooks. </li><li>Make recommendations for members who have food sensitivities/allergies. </li><li>Assist in receiving and delivering orders when necessary. </li><li>Keep storage areas organized and clean. </li><li>Clearly communicate with other members of the team as production is accomplished. </li><li>Leave each shift organized and cleaned, exceeding what you would want to come into yourself. </li><li>Assist with front counter or table service as needed. </li><li>Accurately process member orders in the club POS system when necessary. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area per grill standards. </li><li>Work special events as necessary throughout the year. </li><li>Uphold our principle to "Improve the day." </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Food preparation experience is preferred. </li><li>Ability to keep a work space clean while working. </li><li>Passion for expanding knowledge about food preparation and restaurant services. </li><li>Patience, tact, and clear communication skills. </li><li>Skills in both leadership and customer service. </li><li>Strong time management and multitasking skills. </li><li>Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised. </li><li>Commitment to our values: hospitality, integrity, teamwork, care, and family. </li></ul> <p>Why work at the Little Rock Athletic Club?</p> <ul> <li>Great Company Atmosphere </li></ul> <p>At The Little Rock Athletic Club, we pride ourselves on creating an environment that fosters growth and development for our employees.
