Austin Health Center is an accessible and equitable employer.</p> <p>Maintenance Assistant</p> <p>Trenton, NJ</p> <p>Full Time</p> <p>Operations- Facilities</p> <p>Entry Level</p> <p>Share</p> <p>MAJOR FUNCTION:</p> <p>Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, assists in various tasks in the general upkeep and repair of facilities including, but not limited to, Essential Functions.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain lighting within the facilities. </li><li>Minor repairs and maintenance. </li><li>Sheetrock repair and painting as required. </li><li>Assist in the maintenance of grounds (grass, woods, flowers, trash). </li><li>Perform and maintenance preventative maintenance duties and logs; keep daily records of tasks completed. </li><li>Greets all patients/clients/customers via telephone or directly in a personal and professional manner. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Assumes other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from high school, vocational school, or possession of an approved high school equivalent certificate. </li><li>Basic knowledge of electricity and plumbing. </li><li>Experience in maintaining a health care facility preferable. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER (KSAO's):</p> <ul> <li>High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. </li><li>Good reasoning abilities.
