Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes the dignity and independence of each individual in our care.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. </li><li>Help patients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning. </li><li>Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. </li><li>Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere. </li><li>Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding patient needs and changes. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of New Jersey. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Basic life support (BLS) certification. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. </li><li>Additional certifications in specialized areas of patient care. </li><li>Bilingual skills to communicate with a diverse resident population. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills for this position include strong interpersonal abilities, which are essential for building rapport with residents and their families.
