<p>Home / Employment / Adjunct Instructor - Biology</p> <p>DESCRIPTION OF JOB:</p> <p>Edgewood College seeks adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate Biology courses. All courses are taught either face-to-face or hybrid. Some of the courses that are taught are introductory biology, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>*</p> <p>Instructors would be responsible for planning, implementing, and grading formative and summative assessments as well as helping to prep for labs when appropriate. They will also be expected to work with other instructors to ensure alignment between different sections of a course. All courses are managed through an online LMS (Canvas) and instructors are expected to maintain an updated course site throughout the semester.</p> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Necessary Education or Work Experience:</p> <p>Candidates must have a master's degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field; a PhD is preferred. Previous experience teaching at the college level is highly preferred.
