<p>Summary of Position</p> <p>Assists with operations of the assigned department on an intermittent basis as assigned.</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 100% - Prepares reports on work, assignments, time, status, etc. as scheduled and requested; escalates well- documented issues to other teams and/or employees as necessary and appropriate.</p> <p>Works with, protects, secures, migrates, etc. data as needed to perform required and/or assigned duties implementing standard procedures and/or best practices to ensure no data loss.</p> <p>Creates and maintains concise, accurate, and timely records of services rendered and help requests.</p> <p>Maintains documentation for new and changing technologies especially regarding security hardware and/or software, understand front line customer support protocols. Serves as a resource for technology and/or business project tasks as assigned.</p> <p>Logs reviews and remediation.</p> <p>Evaluates defender alerts, abnormal suspicious emails.</p> <p>Assists with policy review and guidelines.</p> <p>Evaluates threats with endpoint-protection product and escalates high risk threats.</p> <p>Checks azure risky sign in and risky users for compromised accounts.</p> <p>Other Functions and Responsibilities: Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Equipment Operated: Computer and all other standard office equipment.</p> <p>Work Schedule: Intermittent, as needed by the department.</p> <p>Supervision Exercised: May exercise supervision over student employees.</p> <p>Reports to: Supervisor as assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications and Competencies</p> <p>Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <p>Knowledge of: University policies and procedures<em>; office practices and procedures; department/division goals and objectives</em>; department/division policies and procedures<em>; workplace safety practices and procedures</em>; English grammar and spelling; records management; office management; project management.</p> <p>Skill in: Use of office equipment; typing, data entry; computer operation; use of computer software and other programs applicable to the assigned department/division*.</p> <p>Ability to: understand a variety of written and/or verbal communications; maintain records according to established procedures; effectively interact with personnel and public to answer routine questions; train or instruct others; move quickly and effectively from one task to another; work independently and in a team environment; develop and maintain effective working relationships.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; one year of customer service experience; proficient with local, networked, and mobile technologies, office productivity software applications, and network connectivity.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field; one year of experience responding to and resolving user technology questions and/or issues.</p>
