Join us and become part of an inclusive team.</p> <p>Client Overview:</p> <p>Our client is a consumer goods manufacturer and is looking to add a Logistics Lead to their team.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$40/hr - $50/hr Depending on experience</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Logistics Lead will oversee the company's domestic and international logistics and shipping and ensure that shipments arrive at their proper destinations on time.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Logistics Lead:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and manage daily logistics processes, ensuring that materials are shipped accurately, on time, and in compliance with any relevant requirements. </li><li>Track the movement of goods from origin to destination using various tracking systems. </li><li>Promptly resolve any issues such as shipping delays, damaged goods, documentation discrepancies, or carrier-related problems promptly. </li><li>Communicate with client logistics representatives. </li><li>Generate and verify various shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Shipping Labels. </li><li>The Logistics Lead will stay updated on shipping regulations, customs laws, and hazardous material handling procedures to ensure shipments comply with legal requirements. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience for the Logistics Lead:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 5 years of logistics experience in industry is required for the Logistics Lead. </li><li>Knowledge of the full shipping process from order to delivery. </li><li>Experience with international shipments and logistics (air, sea) as well as domestic (UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.). </li><li>Be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. </li><li>Strong knowledge of shipping documents. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience for the Logistics Lead:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in the food/beverage, chemicals, or other regulated industry. </li><li>Knowledge of Incoterms. </li><li>Experience dealing with customs. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>A GED or high school diploma is required for the Logistics Lead. </li><li>A college degree is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
