The patient population on this unit requires complex nursing care.</p> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li>(3) 12 -hour shifts OR (3) 8-hour shift and (1) 12-hour shift </li><li>Day (7am-7pm, 7am-3pm), and Night (11pm-7am, 7pm-7am) </li><li>36 hours per week </li><li>Rotational holiday and weekend schedule </li></ul> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.</p> <p>Does this position require Patient Care? Yes</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame and/or as requested. </li><li>Completes all documentation in the medical record as required. </li><li>Interacts with patients and their families effectively. </li><li>Helps patients with a number of basic hygiene tasks.
