<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Economics Department at Siena College invites applications for a full-time visiting faculty position in any field in economics, beginning Fall 2025. The candidate hired will be expected to teach introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics courses to undergraduate students. This is an in-person campus position.</p> <p>The mission of the Economics Department at Siena College is to educate undergraduate students in a learning environment that emphasizes both mainstream and heterodox approaches to economics, as well as principles of economic justice related to Siena's Franciscan tradition. The Economics Department offers a curriculum that is taught critically and comparatively to promote inquiry and intellectual growth for students, department faculty, and the campus community. Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated passion for innovative undergraduate teaching, including heterodox approaches.</p> <p>Annual Salary: Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics - $99,530.00 - (PhD)</p> <p>Annual Salary: Instructor of Economics - $61,200.00 - (ABD)</p> <p>The hiring salaries above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Previous teaching experience and ABD status required, and completed Ph.D. preferred.
