<p>Job Title: Temporary School Nurse</p> <p>Location: TBD</p> <p>Job Type: Temporary</p> <p>Start Date: 3/17/2025</p> <p>End Date: 5/30/2025</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>RCS is seeking a compassionate and qualified Temporary Nurse to provide healthcare support to our students and staff. This role is ideal for a licensed nurse who enjoys working with children in an educational setting and is looking for a flexible, part-time schedule.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide first aid and basic healthcare to students and staff. </li><li>Administer medications in accordance with school policies and physician instructions. </li><li>Monitor students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies) and respond to health concerns. </li><li>Maintain accurate health records and documentation. </li><li>Assist in monitoring and managing communicable diseases and other health concerns. </li><li>Educate students and staff on basic health and wellness practices. </li><li>Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns as needed. </li><li>Follow school district policies and state health regulations. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in [State]. </li><li>Current CPR and First Aid certification. </li><li>Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting. </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently. </li></ul> <p>Schedule & Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Hours: 35-40 hours per week. </li><li>Duration: Temporary position through the end of the school year (5/30/2025) </li><li>Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience. </li></ul>
