<p>Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for performing all warehouse functions in a safe and timely manner. These functions include but are not limited to; picking and checking outgoing shipments; put away inbound and returned products; loading and unloading trailers; pallet assembly; maintaining a clean and safe work environment, operating equipment safely.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Learn and understand how to use the WMS equipment to perform daily work requirements </li><li>Using WMS to pull orders to staging location for checking and loading. </li><li>Assist with LP audits and checks as instructed </li><li>Unload product on inbound shipments, verifies accuracy against unloader report, and ensures all tires are palletized correctly and to the correct Unit of Measure </li><li>Using WMS to put away product as directed </li><li>Load product for shipment to customers </li><li>Pull, bundle and load FedEx orders </li><li>Adhere to all safety requirements of the warehouse operations </li><li>Use all equipment and tools safely and properly. </li><li>Conduct forklift checks </li><li>Immediately reports all safety, personnel and operational concerns or problems to the supervisor </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Computer skill and knowledge </li><li>Effective communication (written and verbal) skills </li><li>Math skills to the degree necessary to perform the job </li><li>Ability to plan and manage multiple projects </li><li>Strong team player </li><li>Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers. </li><li>Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Some warehouse and customer service experience </li><li>Some forklift operations experience preferred </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent experience required </li><li>WMS experience would be desired </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Driving equipment 6-8 hours </li><li>Lift 20-49 lbs several times an hour </li><li>Use of RF scanners and Monitors </li></ul>
