For more information, click here.</p> <p>Role reports to: Director External Manufacturing Make</p> <p>Location: Summit, NJ</p> <p>Travel %: 25%</p> <p>Pay: $98,000 - $167,900</p> <p>What you will do</p> <p>The EM Site Lead is responsible for achieving specific performance metrics in areas of site execution, cost, service, quality, agility, and environmental health & safety while managing all aspects of manufacturing operations within assigned site(s), including product supply, logistics and distribution, capacity management, planning, capabilities assessment, inventory control, purchasing, quality, negotiation, and engineering.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead cross functional teams to resolve product supply issues, driving results on a worldwide, regional, and local basis </li><li>Develop manufacturing strategies to improve site performance, agility, and reliability of supply </li><li>Ensure achievement of external manufacturing site attainment goals </li><li>Facilitate execution of legally binding supply and service level agreements </li><li>Identify and deliver cost improvement projects </li><li>Coordinate the execution of life cycle management and new product launches at external manufacturing sites </li><li>Resolve quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) issues </li><li>Facilitate the implementation of LEAN methodology and continuous improvement initiatives </li><li>Enhance supply market knowledge in key processing technologies for efficient benchmarking and rapid selection of alternative manufacturing sites. </li><li>Perform ongoing analysis of supply chain costs, propose cost improvements, and implement strategies for optimized inventory and reduced lead-times. </li><li>Coordinate product/process changes at external manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders </li></ul> <p>What we are looking for</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or advanced degree is preferred. </li><li>A minimum of 6 years related experience in any of the following areas is required: Supply Chain/Operations, Quality, External or Internal Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain Sourcing, and/or Supply Planning. </li><li>Experience working with Manufacturing Operations in a GMP environment is required. </li><li>An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating across functional levels is required. </li><li>Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills is required. </li><li>Demonstrated effectiveness in establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with internal and external business partners to meet tactical and strategic business needs is required. </li><li>Demonstrated effectiveness leading and influencing cross-functional project teams is required. </li><li>This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Training/experience with Lean Six Sigma/Process Improvement methodologies is preferred. </li><li>Prior experience establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreement (SLAs) for critical vendors is preferred. </li><li>Prior knowledge of advanced planning systems such as ERP, MRP, and/or SAP is preferred. </li><li>Prior experience in other Supply Chain functions and Make/Operations is preferred </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you</p> <ul> <li>Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $98,000 - $167,900.
