<p>Department/Unit:</p> <p>Patient Billing Service</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$78,773.63 - $122,099.12</p> <p>The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for all management functions related to the collection of all claims billed to insurance for Albany Medical Center.</p> <p>The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for all management functions related to the collection of all claims billed to insurance for Albany Medical Center.</p> <p>The Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing staff. The manager will also have daily external contact with Federal/State agencies and third-party payers. The manager will play an active role in all monthly scheduled department and/or payor meetings. Each month, the manager will complete an analysis of open accounts and denials as well as work with the departments as necessary to reduce future denials.
