This is a second shift position, with regular work hours of 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.</p> <p>Required Skills</p> <p>Ability to read, interpret, and apply precise and complex technical work instructions</p> <p>Blue Print reading</p> <p>PC skills</p> <p>Mechanical trouble shooting and problem solving</p> <p>Attention to detail</p> <p>Flexibility</p> <p>Assembly experience</p> <p>Strong work ethic</p> <p>Willingness to work second shift</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Follow work instructions / training documents specific to each assembly, inspection, and packaging operations.</p> <p>Obtain, read, and use appropriate blueprints for product.</p> <p>Verify all parts and components match order and part numbers for assembly.</p> <p>Set up assembly and/or packaging machinery per specific work instructions and training documents.</p> <p>Perform ring washing operations per specific work instructions and training documents (if applicable).</p> <p>Perform assembly of bearings per specific work instructions and training documents.</p> <p>Perform quality inspections per work instructions and training documents.</p> <p>Perform packaging operations for bearing assemblies per work instructions and training documents.</p> <p>Laser mark bearings per training document.</p> <p>Complete all required documentation.</p> <p>Customer Focus - Apply clear understanding of customer (internal and external) technical requirements for each order. Assure conformance of all products and assemblies to requirements.</p> <p>Team Participation - Collaborate with a variety of plant teams focused on continuous improvement. Occasionally serve as facilitator of such teams. Regularly rotate to other tasks and assist team members in meeting Team Metrics.</p> <p>Training - Continuously develop and upgrade training materials used to train other Assemblers, and occasionally assist in training. Requires continuous self-development of skills and business knowledge and the exercise of both.</p> <p>Safety - Requires daily participation in individual and team safety responsibilities such as departmental inspections, maintaining good housekeeping, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</p> <p>Continuous Improvement - Generate and implement ideas for quality improvements and cost savings.</p> <p>All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
