Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to help physicians more thoroughly explore internal areas of the body, such as the colon, esophagus and small bowel. Endoscopy RNs and LPNs staff the pre-surgical area, 3 procedure rooms and the post-operative area with 8 bays.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works 7:00am - 3:30pm (varying start time)</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work under the direction of an RN or physician to provide basic bedside care.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect, document and report patient data and observations.</p> </li><li> <p>Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform routine laboratory tests.</p> </li><li> <p>Educate patients and family members.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program</p> </li><li> <p>Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)</p> </li><li> <p>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire or within one year of employment</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>One year of patient care experience </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
