This role will blend the creative and functional sides of UI design, focusing on developing intuitive, player-centric interfaces that elevate gameplay and immersion. Bring your creativity to help build an immersive player experience for Cyberpunk 2.</p> <p>Daily responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design player-focused UI solutions, develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that are highly functional, easy to navigate, and visually engaging. </li><li>Balance functionality and aesthetics to ensure that UI design aligns with gameplay mechanics and enhances the player experience, by maintaining a consistent visual language. </li><li>Lead cross-functional collaboration: work closely with UX designers, game designers, and developers to ensure that UI design supports gameplay goals and technical feasibility. </li><li>Drive innovation in interaction design. </li><li>Ensure technical implementation readiness. </li><li>Partner with engineering teams to oversee the implementation of UI designs and troubleshoot any integration challenges. </li><li>Create and maintain detailed design documentation and style guides to facilitate clear communication across the development team. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>At least 3+ years of experience in game UI design. </li><li>Advanced design skills. </li><li>Expertise in using design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop & Illustrator, or similar, for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. </li><li>Experience with Unreal Engine: understanding of UI implementation, blueprints, and materials and familiarity with how UI integrates into gameplay. </li><li>Ability to write UI logic using a scripting language. </li><li>Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Ability to clearly present ideas, lead discussions, and manage feedback constructively. </li><li>Excellent communication skills: we have a multilingual and multicultural working environment and the ability to communicate across language and time zone barriers is essential. </li></ul> <p>Candidates should include a portfolio in their application.</p> <p>Nice to Haves:</p> <p>(Please note that these skills are not required to apply for the position)</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in using 3D software like Cinema 4d, Blender, 3DS Max etc. </li><li>Passion for innovative UI, insight into modern UI trends in games and a keen interest in pushing creative boundaries. </li><li>Knowledge of the Cyberpunk genre. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>This job requires working in Boston, US.</p> <p>Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.</p> <p>Health & Well-being</p> <ul> <li>Company paid medical healthcare (dental vision & mental). </li><li>Paid Leave - 20 days of holiday for every team member per year (26 days after two years). </li><li>No dress-code - we like to keep it casual. </li><li>401K with employer matching. </li><li>Gym Membership Reimbursement. </li></ul> <p>Perks & Professional Growth</p> <ul> <li>Flexible working hours. </li><li>Trainings, lectures and courses - internal workshops, knowledge-sharing initiatives, online tutorials, and e-learning classes are all available.
