<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Permatex is currently looking for a Chemical Mixer to join our 2nd shift team. 2nd Shift hours are 3:00pm - 11:00pm.</p> <p>Pay Rate: $24 - $27 depending on experience. You will also receive a $.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION</p> <p>To perform data entry and administrative duties to support the operations of the Manufacturing department.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Ability to accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials manually or automatically </li><li>Manufacture material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer software </li><li>Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) </li><li>Perform routine batch quality checks </li><li>Sanitizes mixing equipment per work instructions at scheduled intervals </li><li>Monitors integrity of mixes and shuts down operation if out of compliance </li><li>Assists in training of new mixers and assists other lines as needed </li><li>Promotes and follows all safety guidelines and procedures </li><li>Recommends safety improvements as needed </li><li>Performs various other duties as necessary. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED required </li><li>3-4 years of batch mixing experience in hand cleaner or related industry </li><li>Must be computer literate </li><li>Must be certified to drive all types of lift trucks: low-lift, fork-lift, high-lift </li><li>Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions. </li></ul>
