<p>DESCRIPTION</p> <p>We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician to join our Distribution business in Sparks, NV.</p> <p>You will make an impact in the following ways:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Complete minor repairs on engine products in a service shop</p> </li><li> <p>Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies</p> </li><li> <p>Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain own tools</p> </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience as a Mid to Medium repair technician</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshooting of wiring, powertrain and chassis is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Some Knowledge of engine diagnostics and technical problem solving</p> </li><li> <p>Electrical experience is a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Position will be responsible for everything from basic maintenance, oil change, Chassis grease, working with senior techs on engine overhauls, engine and transmission, replacements. Will also learn Chassis repairs as well to be a well-rounded technician.</p> <p>Votech, Trade school or prior experience required.</p> <ul> <li> <p>This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.</p> </li><li> <p>A current valid license is required for this role</p> </li><li> <p>Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience</p> </li><li> <p>This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
