This is an intermittent position that works from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays.</p> <p>This position will report to the Fox 59 News station at 6910 Network Place, Indianapolis, IN.</p> <p>Salary Statement:</p> <p>The salary for this position starts at $25.00 per hour.</p> <p>A Day in the Life:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with the actual draw game drawing for the purpose of verifying, recording, and cross-referencing the draw sales, numbers drawn and prize information with draw site personnel; </li><li>Enters the winning numbers into computer system and works with IT personnel to verify that the winning numbers are entered under dual control; </li><li>Balances a variety of reports to ensure the accuracy of the sales and winning numbers; </li><li>Interfaces with online vendor, Security, IT and Powerball personnel to verify information; </li><li>Sends out winning numbers and prize correspondence to the Media and Lottery staff; </li><li>Performs other required tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need for Success:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; </li><li>Previous clerical experience preferred; </li><li>Ability to pay attention to detail and perform work with high degree of accuracy; </li><li>Ability to perform basic mathematic computations; </li><li>Ability to maintain accurate recordkeeping; </li><li>Ability to use computers and calculators; </li><li>Ability to work independently; </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; </li><li>Ability to work weekends and holidays </li></ul> <p>Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana:</p> <p>This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period</p> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity:</p> <p>The State of Indiana is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to recruiting, selecting, developing, and promoting employees based on individual ability and job performance.
